Ankai Holds Promotional Campaign for Hybrid Buses

www.chinabuses.org: While celebrating its 50th anniversary, Ankai held a promotional campaign for its hybrid buses in Hefei. Over 100 bus operators from across China gathered in the provincial capital of Anhui province and witnessed the debut of the latest Ankai hybrid buses.

On-site hybrid bus product promotion
In 1993, Ankai successfully rolled out S215HD luxury bus after cooperating with Germany-based Setra, ushering a brand new era for China’s bus manufacturing industry. In 2010, 30 units Ankai electric buses were officially put into operation on Bus Route No.18 in Hefei, making it the world’s No.1 electric bus route. In 2015, Ankai Best was chosen as the carrier for China’s veterans at the V-Day Parade.
Boasting four bus production bases and one production base for auto spare parts now, Ankai is a state-level pilot enterprise for innovation and a key hi-tech enterprise in China. Backed up b China’s only Electric Bus Integration Engineering Research Center, Ankai is focusing on developing electric buses, advanced control systems and electric motors.
