According to the local bus operator, all the five buses will be put into operation on the bus route 1E in Belgrade, making the route the first super-capacitor city bus route in Europe. Test results show that Higer super-capacitor bus consumes less than one kilowatt-hour electricity for every one kilometer, which means a significant cut of 13 tons of CO2 in the atmosphere each year.

After being recharged through a pantograph, Higer super-capacitor bus is able to drive 20 kilometers.
