In 2010, 59 units of Yutong travel coaches were delivered to Tibet. On June 29, 2011, Lhasa Municipal Government made an investment of 13.727 million RMB and bought the first batch of 53 units Yutong school buses. In September 2015, the first batch of new type of buses specially designed for the plateau area arrived in Tibet for operation. Currently, over 60% of the buses are branded with Yutong in Tibet. In the passenger transportation market, Yutong boasts a market share of 84.9%.
