Thus, the sales volume of its new energy buses accounted for over 15% of its overall sales volume.
Currently, Yutong boasts a wide spectrum of new energy buses, including 10-18 meters plug-in hybrid buses, 6-12 meters full electric buses. In the plug-in hybrid bus market, it holds about 40% of the market share. In addition, it also makes up more than 20% of the full electric bus market.
To date, Yutong new energy buses have successfully made their presence in 20 cities which are designated by the government for eco-friendly bus promotion and 38 other cities across the nation. According to some experts, this year is a key period for the development of China's new energy bus industry. As the leading bus maker and new energy bus supplier, Yutong will continue to play a leading role in China's new energy bus market in the latter half of this year.
