According to the bus maker, its customer from Israel placed an order of 177 units Golden Dragon buses with a total value of 27 million USD. The buses are expected to be delivered in three batches. The second batch of 81 units buses was delivered this time, with 55 units XML6125 low-floor city buses and 26 units XML6121 intercity buses.

Located in the Middle East, Israel sets stringent safety and emission standards just like Europe. Due to its tough weather conditions, the customer from the nation requires buses to meet various strict standards. When interviewed by our reporter, David Ohana points out, “I have been involved in the bus operation industry for decades. Golden Dragon has become our most reliable cooperative partner as it supplies us with the best quality bus products.” The two companies started cooperation in 2005. In 2011, the customer imported Golden Dragon’s buses with Euro V Emission Standards, which gained instant popularity in the nation. In the following cooperation, Golden Dragon has overcome a number of technical problems and has further strengthened the overall quality of its bus products. Equipped with FPT Euro VI engines, the new buses boast pneumatic luggage compartment door, the first of its kind in China, fully demonstrating the independent R&D capabilities of Golden Dragon.

“We are very proud of being the pioneer in exporting high-end buses to the overseas markets,” says Wu Wei, Deputy General Manager of Golden Dragon Bus. Currently, Chinese bus makers have all shifted their attention on exploring the overseas emerging markets in the hope of gaining a firm hold in the international markets. In the cut-throat completion, Golden Dragon has been attaching primary importance on technological innovation. Apart from its success in Israeli market, the bus maker also made impressive achievements in its overseas expansion in 2014. The company exported over 8,600 units of buses in total with a total of export revenue of over one billion RMB, up by 55% year on year.

2015 marks a new beginning for Golden Dragon. To further speed up its internationalization, the company is sparing no efforts to become one of the best bus manufacturers in China, rolling out a variety of quality bus products for its customers. In addition, it aims at doubling its export revenue in 2016, reaching two billion RMB.
