Dongfeng New Energy Bus Put into Official Operation in Xiangyang

www.chinabuses.org: On Jul. 18, the first batch of 12-meter new energy buses made by Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. went off production line and were officially put into use in Xiangyang City. The operation of the 26 eco-friendly vehicles marked a brand new development stage for the company's new energy bus business.

According to the bus-maker, their vehicle is capacitor-battery plug-in gas-electric hybrid city bus, also known as double electric hybrid bus. It is the company's second generation of hybrid city bus developed by Dongfeng Xiangyang Touring Car Co., Ltd.
