On Sep.11th of 2013, Air Pollution Protection Activity Plan was released by the State Council, which was taken as a major beneficial policy promoting new-energy commercial vehicle market. After three month, Foton, commercial vehicle enterprise with the domestic largest scale, took the first chance to transfer this policy into a market opportunity.
On Jan.6th of 2014, Foton AUV signed a 1,000-LNG-bus strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Shengshi in Foshan, which is the first large order of over 1,000 energy saving and new-energy buses after PM2.5 process policy released. It is learned that these 1,000 LNG buses would be into public transportation and passenger transportation markets through Shenzhen Zhongsheng and terminal customers.
