On July 26th, the national tour of Scania Touring coaches started from Shenzhen for the purpose of showing the highest-standard coaches to the customers and drivers nationwide. In the ceremony, Scania Touring coach and Marcopolo coach equipped with Scania chassis unveiled themselves at the same time.
Carrying a bag of questions, reporters from www.chinabuses.com interviewed CSO of Scania China BoMartinsson, General Manager of HOY Auto Group Frank Xu and the management of Marcopolo.
"Scania is confident with China's economic development and bus market. Despite current situation, high-end bus market is promising." Mr. BoMartinsson told the reporter, "For China is one of the most populous countries, transportation is imperative, especially the bus, as government is becoming more concerned about environment protection."
Speaking of the operation of Scania Touring coaches, Mr. BoMartinsson said: "This model has obtained good market response since its release in Europe in 2009, by virtue of influential brand, unique appearance, cozy driving and excellent after-sales service."
"Our dealership in Scania high-end coaches originated from years' good cooperation." said General Manager Frank Xu, "in June 2008, our company became Scania's exclusive dealer in Shenzhen, responsible for sales of Scania coaches, maintenance service and sales of spare parts and industrial generators."
Anyway, Scania and HOY Auto Group are likely to encounter with the challenges of Chinese characteristics at any time, however, the prospect of Scania coaches are worth expecting.
