Changsha is one of China cities where energy-saving and new energy vehicles were test runnings since 2009, and there are already 1200 hybrid buses running in the city. They signed 100 pure electric city buses order with BYS in 2012.
The 30 BYD buses will serve line 103, 110 and 130 and the rest 70 buses will be deliverd within the year. And BYD k9 bus is 12 meter long and it can carry 70 passengers and the highest speed is 70 km and it can run for 250 km after one charge, and the battery can be used for 4000 times.
