Bus that they have secured an order of 85 BJ6800 buses for the 27th Southeast Asia Games. And Naypyidaw government held bidding for the buses to ensure smooth operation of the Games, and Foton AUV Bus made special squad for the bidding and successfully secured it for one month.
BJ6800 is one of Foton AUV's mature and hot sales bus model for overseas markets, and its design and manufacturing has reached leading level in the world, and they made quite a few changes for the climate locally.
The buses are under manufacturing in Guangdong Nanhai plant and they are supposed to be delivered to the customers in mid July.
It is learned that Foton AUV Bus make different strategy for each market. Currently they have three major bus order under discussion, such as 160 BJ6123 buses for Taiwan, 100 BJ6931 buses for Uganda, 10 buses for Ghana, and sales of Foton AUV buses increased in Q1 and Q2.
The order means that Foton's advantages on brands, technology and environmental protection property, and Foton started their sales in Myanmar. After years of marketing accumulation, Foton buses have been exported to US, Mexico, South Adrica and Algeria etc countries, and they have sold about 4,000 buses and coaches till May 2013.
