SUNWIN Chief Engineer Proposes Fuel Subsidy for Pure-electric Buses

www.chinabuses.org: In 2013 New Energy Vehicles Innovation Summit Forum on May 30th, SUNWIN Chief Engineer Ma Baofu said the subsidy reduction would impair the development of pure-electric vehicles.

Mr. Ma thought the enterprises were willing to use pure-electric buses without any extra operation burdens, however, they got reduced subsidies after the renewal of pure-electric vehicles, instead of the RMB 4.00 Yuan/L diesel subsidy.

Mr. Ma appealed that the government must improve the related subsidy policies as soon as possible, which he believed would be "good news to the development of new-energy vehicles."
