First Shangchai National V Engine Enters the Bus Parts Market

www.chinabuses.org: Shangchai SC9DF Nation V diesel engine was used in 12m Wanxiang Bus, which represents Shangchai Nation V engine enters the market.

Shangchai started pre R&D of 9DF Nation V diesel engine in 2012, following the SOP of 9DF Nation IV diesel engine in November 2009.

In 2012, 9DF Nation V diesel engine entered vehicle matching phase and the first unit was used in 12m Wanxiang bus. The lab re-designed the engine and developed low-speed economical 9DF Nation V diesel engine suitable for buses.
