Pang Qingnian revealed that, the target for Youngman developing Phoenix Platform is to develop pure electric buses, as Youngman Automobile Group has successfully made “The world’s most advanced battery”.


Industry analysts said although Youngman's performance in the bus business is not bad, its car business lags far behind other automakers, and that is why it has decided to buy an overseas company.

 

"I used to do some job related with chemical background, the battery research and development team will be set up by myself." Mr. Pang said. It is widely spread In the Youngman Auto that Mr. Pang himself joins the manufacturing of the first generation battery.


According to the introduction of Youngman Auto, this kind of battery is called "Nanogate Carbon Battery" -- carbon fiber cell. Under the high voltage, it takes five minutes to charge the battery full. The battery could be charged 20,000 – 50,000 times. According to the calculation of its service life, it is far more than the vehicle's service life. And distance per charge can reach 200 km. While increasing the quantity of the cell monomer, its distance per charge  could also be extended.
