Chongqing Wuzhoulong Works with Tsinghua Unviersity for HCNG Buses

www.chinabuses.org:At 5:50 p.m. 7 January 2011, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Chongqing Municipal Government and Tsinghua Unviersity was held in Chongqing Municipal Office. In this framework, Chongqing Wuzhoulong New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. signed the agreement with Tsinghua Unviersity for the development and promotion of HCNG buses (hydrogen en-riched compressed nature gas).
According to the agreement, Wuzhoulong will carry on long-term cooperation with Tsinghua Unviersity to develop the domestic advanced HCNG buses together and carry on demonstration operation. The former is responsible for the development and integration of the complete vehicle as well as the bus products and the latter is in charge of the main technology support. With the support from the local government department, both parties agreed that they would set up joint research institution for the implement of this project.
Such cooperation means a milestone for Wuzhoulong to develop new energy buses after working with Chongqing University of Technology. During one year since its foundation, it is dedicated to the development of new energy buses and makes great effort for that.
