www.chinabuses.org: Zhongtong Bus has realized the sales of 3901 buses, year-on-year growth of 47%, operating income of 905 million Yuan, year-on-year growth of 80.65% and net profit of 15.5885 million Yuan in the first half of this year.

It obtains business income of 701 million Yuan, year-on-year growth of 74.04% and sells 3511 conventional buses in China in Jan.-Jul.2010.

The year-on-year growth of exporting business fast grows, not yet reaching new record. It exported 360 buses, year-on-year growth of 213% with income of 178 million Yuan (y/y growth of 130%) in Jan.-Jul. 2010. In 2008, Zhongtong Bus exported 2078 buses in total with exporting amount of 85 million USD.

In the first half of this year, the company has signed the purchasing intention with the public transport companies in Shandong province for 350 new energy buses and the order of 30 units from Liaocheng public transport company. The promotion of new energy buses is not so smooth and successful. It is predicted that the exporting volume and the sales of new energy buses will be obviously better in Jul.-Dec than that in Jan.-Jun., affected by increasing recovery of world economy as well as the strengthened promotion of new energy buses while the business of conventional buses will slow down.
