925 Foton AUV new energy buses were sold in 2009 profiting one billion Yuan, which was the most profitable bus builder in China. And customers from Hangzhou, Changsha, Kunming, Taiwan as well as the US, UK, Thailand and Polamd continue to order Foton new energy vehicles for test running. Beijing Public Transport Company has purchased fifty Foton AUV pure electric buses and this year the order will be over 100 units. And Foton pure electric buses have already beening running in Kunming and Hefei.

  
It is learned that they have already secured orders for over 400 new energy buses early this year, and their advantages as new energy bus builders will continue as more and more buses requirement in China. Price for new energy buses are between 1,000,000 to 1,200,000 Yuan, but their profit is only 15%, a little higher than traditional medium and large buses since fuel cells and electrical machines etc main parts have to be purchased. There will be twenty new energy vehicle testing cities, and their products can take more market share hopefully.

   
In addition, Foton also produce pure electric environmental protection vehicles and chassis by Beijing electric vehicles demonstration program, and they have 24 pure electric sanitary vehicle under testing run. It is worth to notice that Foton will make breakthrough on passenger vehicle based on their electrohydraulic, electronic control system.

   
And China first new energy vehicle base was established late 2008 based on Foton. And the first New Energy Auto Alliance initialed by Beiqi Group, Beijing Public Transport and Beijing Institute of Technology in March, 2009.
