In 2008, Changzhutan ranked the first 13 test cities for demonstration as well as promotion for new energy vehicles. CSR Zhuzhou institute Co., Ltd won the bidding of 500 units and transferred the first 30 hybrid power city buses in April 2008.

It is introduced that these hybrid power buses are the mature and main models for this company, referring to the working modes of hybrid power and conventional power, simple system structure and high reliability. These buses occupy the leading position in China with steady performance, operation milestone and operation effect since launching. The hybrid power buses will be applied to serve Guangzhou Asian Games, Tianjin Davos forum and International Solar Cities Initiative.
