www.chinabuses.org: The first pure electric production base with annual more than 100,000 units was founded in Changzhou recently. It’s learned that it will start to produce in 2012, and then one can pay 50,000-60,000 yuan to buy an environmentally friendly pure electric mini bus.

The project is located in Wujin High-tech Industrial District with first phase investment 500,000,000 yuan (73,208,000 USD) and nearly one hectare. The production base is based on comparatively strong spare parts industrial base and an industry chain is hopefully made soon.
