www.chinabuses.org: It is known that the Bodywork Plant successfully completed the indicators of production and operation and produced 99858 cabs in total in 2009 with 3.68% year-on-year growth and 143.25% of the annual expected objective from the Comprehensive Planning Section of the Bodywork Plant of the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Company on 5 January 2010.

The improved quality of the production operation of the Bodywork Plant shows as followed, aside from the overfulfilling the production targets.

Firstly, the shares of the new and high added-value products increase. The productivity capacity of Dongfeng Kingland and Kingrun is 48,494 and 13,970 units respectively with 62.55% of the total production of the cabs.

Secondly, the productivity of labor has improved further. The Bodywork Plant improved the productivity of the bottleneck procedure through the management and applied the flexible employment scheme.

Thirdly, the operation level with low cost improves. The Bodywork Plant improved the accuracy of the cost control through the detailed management and completed the key achievement index of the charges of manufacturing, logistic and comprehensive quality with the cost decline of 0.39 USD for each cab.
