www.chinabuses.org: Strategic cooperation signing ceremony between People's Government of city of Yangzhou and Weichai Power Co., Ltd. was held in Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel on November 24, 2009. Leaders from Jiangsu province and city of Yangzhou and Weifang, Weichai Power and Yangchai attended the ceremony.

The Strategic Cooperation Agreement was signed by acting mayor of People’s Government of Yangzhou and Chairman of Weichai Power. And then it was followed by an important speech given by Zhao Keqiang, member of standing committee in Jiangsu Provincial Party committee and Executive Vice Governor.

 
The agreement was based on mutual communication and consensus. And they agree that they will integrate both advantageous resources to make deepening cooperation, than core competitiveness of Yangzhou auto parts industry can be improved comprehensively and Weichai Power can expand rapidly in Yangtze River Delta. And it may also speedup construction of Weichai Power auto parts and shipping power manufacturer production base in Yangzhou. In the following five years, Weichai Power will develop small-bore diesel engine, shipping power propulsion system, special automobiles and other auto parts business etc. According to the agreement, Weichai Group will invest and deploy marketing resources rationally to make ten billion industry size auto parts and shipping power manufacturer production base.
