www.chinabuses.org: It’s learned from Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd that the seventieth anniversary will be held in Chongqing Hengtong Industrial Park on November 18, 2009. Then leaders in Chongqing city government office etc over 300 persons will attend the celebration.

As introduced that themed as “Glory 70 years, legend of new age”, the activity includes celebration, new vehicle opening ceremony and plant-visiting. One of the highlights is that opening ceremony for two new vehicles will be held during the celebration, and the two vehicles are specially made for the anniversary and also innovative products in public transport research and development field. 

It’s learned that Hengtong Bus, founded in 1939, was former Chongqing bus and coach factory. After 70-year development, Hengtong bus has exported to over 20 countries and regions. And their superior product, natural gas bus, got market inventory as many as over 30,000 units, taking 70% of domestic natural gas vehicles market share.
