www.chinabuses.org: News from Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Corp (BAIC for short as below) says that it will continue to build its auto brand despite the global economic crisis. BAIC will revive its own brand Beijing in the near future.

The BAIC brand Beijing was created in 1958. Through many years development, BAIC plans to build up a new production line of Beijing and its annual production capacity will reach 100,000 units. BAIC targets its sales revenue reaching 200 billion yuan by the year of 2011.

According related statistics show that the sale of BAIC jumps more than 50 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters of this year. However, it is still lower than top Chinese automaker SAIC.
