www.chinabuses.org: Taiyuan Public Transport Holdings, Ltd. holds public bid for city buses from October 10 to October 11, 2009. This purchase includes 333 units.

The bidding includes two bid sections, namely, 168 ten-meter city buses and 165 ten-meter city buses; and all bus builders in line with the third chapter of Law of the People’s Republic of china on bid invitation and bidding can participate in the bid. The bid period is from October 10 to October 11, 2009 (holidays excepted). And the bidder should take with him or her following certificates: business license transcript of enterprise legal person, Tax Registration Certificate (central tax and land tax), corporate code certificate, official letter provided by bidder to prove purchaser’s identification, purchaser’s ID, ISO9001 or TS16949 Quality Certificate, National Catalogue of Commodities of the tender vehicle, China Compulsory Certification for the render vehicle. The bidder must respond to the two bids simultaneously, and incomplete tender will be in vain.

It’s learned that the purchase is mainly for replacement of old buses, and it’s also possible that new bus lines are added.
