English.chinabuses.com: From October 27 to 29 2009, Qijiang will the first time hold the International Auto-motor Industry Development Cooperation Summit, contribute advice and suggestions for the construction and development of western gear city.


In May 2008, Chinese Professional Gear Association awarded Qijiang gear "West China Gear City" title, Qijiang auto transmission and gear machinery industry is developing rapidly. According to the plan, by 2012 Qijiang gear machinery industry output will reach 5.7 billion yuan in 2017 to reach 13.05 billion yuan in 2020 to reach 20.3 billion.
