With a total investment of RMB 5 billion (about USD 732.145 million), Beijing New Energy Automotive Design and Manufacturing Base now boasts an annual production capacity of 5,000 units of various kinds of new energy vehicles.

Foton AUV Hybrid Bus Went into Trial Operation in Beijing
In early 2008, Foton AUV hybrid buses were smoothly put into service in Guangzhou. Later, Beijing Public Transport Group inked a deal with the bus builder for 800 units of hybrid city buses. Thus, Foton AUV has made a giant step forward in commercialization of its hybrid buses.
