Feb. 28, 2009: in this year’s Beijing International Bus Competition, Huanghai Bus brought its four new model buses to compete with its rivals and was one of the biggest winners in the awarding ceremony of the competition. Outstandingly eye-catching, these models have pocketed six awards in total, including Guangdong Passenger Transportation Enterprises’ Excellent Supplier, Super-large 18-meter (BRT) Bus Golden Award, CIBC Energy-Saving and Environmentally Friendly Bus Award, CIBC New Energy/Green Bus Award, Best Bus Chassis Award and Best Urban Coach Manufacturer.

 
A total number of 28 domestic bus manufacturers took part in this year’s competition. Huanghai’s four new models are DD6186S02 Type 18-meter BRT Urban Bus, DD6129HES11 Type Low-floor & Hybrid Bus, DD6128S26 Type Second Step Streamline Natural Gas Bus and 11-Meter Rear-mounted Diesel Engine CHH6110G02 New Type Urban Bus produced in its Changzhou production base.
After four days careful assessments by experts, the winners are finally revealed. Huanghai Bus stands out and is the only winner of the Best Urban Bus Manufacturer Award. Meanwhile, it becomes Guangdong Passenger Transportation Enterprises’ Excellent Supplier.
