China Sold 48,666 Units Buses & Coaches in November

According to the latest statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China sold 48,666 units buses & coaches in November, up by 36.4% against that in October, and up by 1.3% year on year.

More specifically, the sales volume of large-sized buses & coaches reached 6,355 units, up by 58.4% month on month and down by 26.1% year on year; the sales volume of medium-sized buses & coaches stood at 6,871 units, up by 104.6% month on month and down by 7.8% year on year; the sales volume of light buses & coaches registered at 35,440 units, up by 23.7% month on month and up by 10.8% year on year.

In the large-sized bus & coach market, Yutong ranks the No.1 place with its monthly sales in November accounting for over 30% of the whole market; in the medium-sized bus & coach market, Yutong still takes the first place with a market share of 27.68%; in the light bus & coach market, JMC take the lead with a market share of 22.06%.

Guangdong ranks the first place in the sales of large-sized buses and coaches; Henan is the leading player in the sales of medium-sized buses and coaches; Jiangsu takes the leading position in the sales of light buses and coaches.

In terms of the export, China sold 5,400 units buses & coaches in the overseas market in November, up by nearly 8% month on month and down by nearly 2% year on year. More specifically, the export volume of large-sized buses & coaches reached 1,300 units, down by 2% year on year; the export volume of medium-sized coaches stood at 300 units, down by 10% year on year; the export volume of light buses registered at 3,800 units, staying at the same level as that in the same period last year.

It is also revealed that China sold 83,000 units vehicles in the overseas market in November, down by 4.3% month on month and up by 8.3% year on year. More specifically, the export volume of passenger vehicles reached 60,000 units, down by 7.8% month on month and up by 18.6% year on year; the export volume of commercial vehicles stood at 23,000 units, up by 6.1% month on month and down by 12% year on year.
